Dyson just launched two new cordless stick vacuums, and they’re already $100 off

Dyson makes some of the best cordless stick vacuums our editors have tested, and this summer, there are some new contenders on the scene. Earlier this year, Dyson began refreshing its entire vacuum lineup with new releases, and today, two of those are on sale for the very first time. Both the Dyson V10 Konical and V16 Piston Animal have been marked down to the best prices yet, with at least $100 in savings to make their added conical brushes and improved suction power better values than back at launch.

Dyson V10 Konical Cordless Vacuum

Dyson's newest stick vacuum brings many of the features I loved from the lightweight PencilVac Fluffycones over to a heavier yet far more capable way to clean your floors. It lacks the broom-like design of Dyson's more unique cleaner, but makes up for it with added suction power, a longer battery and a larger dustbin. The best part? It features a similar conical brush head that prevents hair from tangling the motors as you sweep. It's now $100 off for the first time at your choice of three retailers.

Dyson V16 Piston Animal Cordless Vacuum

This V16 Piston Animal vacuum is based around the same anti-tangle conical cleaning head as other Dyson vacuums, then backs it with even more performance. It has a longer 70-minute run time, a HEPA filter and even better suction, plus can also automatically adapt its cleaning power based on the type of floor, carpet or rug you're trying to sweep. The stick vacuum also comes with three other attachments for cleaning stairs, between couch cushions and your car's interior with today's $130 discount — the first markdown since launching in June.

Both of Dyson’s newest stick vacuums come with even more reliable suction and longer run times than the models that came before them. And there’s more than just those incremental improvements to make the brand’s latest floor cleaners stand out. After getting to use the Dyson PencilVac for cleaning my own home over the past six months, one of my favorite features is the unique conical brush head.

Both of these newer vacuum cleaners iterate on that with the same anti-tangle designs to make cleaning a bit less of a hassle. I have longer hair that would normally jam up the cleaning head in my older vacuum, and since switching to the PencilVac, I haven’t had to end each cleaning session by then also cleaning my vacuum.
