Each article and author receives a TrustScore out of 100, calculated from:

• Fact-check record (40%): Accuracy of past predictions and claims
• Expert consensus (20%): Alignment with verified expert opinion
• Community verification (10%): Reader-flagged corrections and engagement quality

3. Author Tiers

Authors progress through four tiers based on article output and TrustScore performance. Higher tiers unlock greater visibility, monetisation access, and editorial support.

4. Fact-Checking Process

All articles are subject to automated fact-checking against public data sources. Gold and Platinum authors may request manual editorial review. Readers can flag inaccuracies directly from any article page — flagged claims are reviewed within 48 hours.

5. Corrections & Takedowns

We are committed to transparency in corrections. If a factual error is confirmed:

• A correction notice is appended to the article within 24 hours
• The author's TrustScore is updated to reflect the error
• Major errors may result in article unpublishing pending review
• Legal takedown requests (DMCA, defamation) are processed within 5 business days

6. Independence & Conflicts of Interest

Authors must disclose any financial positions in assets covered in their articles. Sponsored content is clearly labelled and kept editorially separate from independent reporting. PaytoHash News editorial decisions are not influenced by advertisers.
